Lower passing rate of FPSC becomes the major concern for Government to review past results

Are you one of those who hasn’t cleared their FPSC exams? Then you will soon get justice because Government has asked to review the results of past three years of Federal Public Service Commission. The in-depth analysis will be done compared to other developing countries. The decision was presented by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Civil Service Reforms.

It was also discussed that the method of paper induction will also be reviewed to increase the success rate. A press release was called to discuss the matter and was attended by many senior officials such as Chairman FPSC Naveed Akram Cheema, Ahsan Iqbal who is the Minister for Interior and Planning, Development, and reform.

It was clearly mentioned to consider the restructuring of civil service to make it more professional, vibrant and capable enough to meet the modern challenges. It was confirmed in a meeting that National School of public policy status will be elevated to the National University of Public Policy and the administration needs to improve the standards of professional training. This process needs to b initiated as soon as possible directed by the Prime Minister.
