Make warming soup this Winter in 30 minutes

It is well known as the perfect comfort soup especially during the chilly days. The appeal of soup increases during the winter season and one of the convalescing choice from cold, flu and cough.
A bowl of nutritious soup may behave as an appetizer mixed with chicken or veggies or both. It is a perfect complete meal. However, winter also brings fresh vegetables which scale up the health benefits. Moreover, soups made up from fresh seasonal vegetables are packed with nutrition. How to make Vegetable stock?
The ingredients mentioned below makes scrumptious two cups of stock.
- 2 tablespoons of chopped celery
- ¼ cup of chopped carrots
- ¼ cup of chopped onions
- ¼ cup of chopped cabbage
- ¼ cup cauliflower florets
Method to cook
Now take 3 cups of water and boil it in a deep non-stick pan. Add all of the ingredients mentioned above on high flame for at least 10 minutes. Now strain water and discard vegetables. If you want to use the vegetables for soup then keep them.
Add shredded boil chicken into the vegetable stock and give it a boil. Then add
- Salt to Taste
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon soya sauce
- ½ teaspoon vinegar
- ½ teaspoon chili sauce
- Chinese salt to taste
Add corn flour (about 1 ½ tablespoon mixed in water) or as required for soup thickness on the low flame heat. keep stirring while adding corn flour mixture. Add one beaten egg. Give a boil and the soup is ready to serve.
You can also add mushrooms, shrimps, peas, and corn as per your requirement.
