Government will soon hire 200 computer teachers for Capital Schools labs

Federal Government has taken the decision to hire almost 200 computer teachers for the labs in all of the educational institutions of public sector mainly residing in Islamabad Capital Territory.

According to the reporters, Ali Raza who is the advisor to PM on Educational Reforms told that the task for hiring the computer teachers is given to Ministry of IT. Now Capital Administration and Development Division will conduct interviews as well as exams for the candidates. He also mentioned that the appointment of computer teachers will be given to the candidates who own the minimum qualification of BS computer science. Candidates holding BS degree in other subjects or having a diploma in computer sciences will need to stay stressed because preference will be given to the students of BS computer science.

The teachers for the computer labs will only be hired on contract basis along with the mentioned salary which will last for a period of three years. However, the salaries will be paid by Ministry of IT.

It was clear that the project is conducted under the concern of Ministry of IT for three years to help Federal Directorate of Education to create posts for teachers on regular basis. Later on, the project will be handled by Directorate. However, during the first phase, computer labs will only be established in all the girl’s schools. ICT and Ministry of IT will take care of all the expenditure.

It is important to note that almost 423 public sector schools will be updated under the project and induction of teachers is a part of it.
