Saudi Government seeks Umrah pilgrims to submit their fingerprints before proceeding to this religious journey. The whole process require  fee. However the fee required for the process is not revealed yet.

According to The Travels Agents Association of Pakistan (TAAP) the decision is so alarming as it inculcates the miseries in the pilgrims.

Reports revealed, the firm which will collect the fingerprints data is not Pakistani but is from Dubai. Earlier the decision was suspended by the government of Saudia but after the time span of two years.

In this regard, a letter has been issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Riyadh. According to letter, visas would be provided to the pilgrims after biometric registration. The step is taken while keeping in view the security issues.
