AIOU to increase its educational network in Sindh
Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is to expand its educational network in Sindh. The decision is made to enhance the education in the province in order to increase socio-economic development.
The decision was made during a meeting of Regional Directors presided by Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Shahid Siddiqui. During meeting, different factors were discussed to increase the enrollment of students in educational institutes.
VC advised the Regional Directors to ease people in getting admission during fall semester 2017. It was revealed that AIOU admissions will continue till 28 September.
Siddiqui further said that AIOU will use all of its resources to facilitate maximum number of students. While talking about enrollment of students in past few years, Siddiqui told that increase in admissions has been spotted. Talking about the reason of increased enrollment he said this is due to the increased trust of people on the system of University.
VC further appreciated the Regional Directors for their struggles in up lifting the university’s position.
