Sindh to have 600 modern buses at its roads
Karachi will have a new transport facility named as City Transport Service. City Transport Service will be comprised of 600 Daewoo buses that will hit the roads of city within two months.
The news was revealed by Minister of Sindh Transport, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah. Hussain said that in this regard, all paper work had been completed and it will soon hit the roads of city. Hussain told that they have been working on this service since last six months and within few days its advertisement would appear in the press.
While talking about the scheme, Minister of Sindh Transport said that many transporters had shown keen interest to operate the buses and under the transport scheme transporters only need to have fifteen percent finance. He added that Sindh government share would also be comprised of 15 percent while rest of seventy percent would be provided under the Modaraba scheme.
Nasir Hussain told that buses under the Modaraba scheme will stop only at the specific designated stops.
The new transport facility will ease users in their traffic issues.
