Islamabad School Students to get free Uniform, Lunch & Books

The Capital Administration and Developmental Division (CADD) has announced to provide free books, meals, lunch, uniform, and shoes to the students from schools of capital.

These facilities would be provided to the students under the Prime Minister Education Reforms Programme. The announcement was made by the Minister of CADD Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary.

The programme will aid in increasing the enrollment of students in public schools of capital. Dr Tariq announced that students from Montessori to five class will be given with free lunch, uniform and books.

He further added that summary has been sent for approval and these facilities will be provided to the students as soon as feasible. According to Minister of State for CADD, lunch will include a pack of biscuit, juice and milk which will be given to students during the school hours. Dr Tariq said that 200,000 from 422 ICT schools will be prided with these facilities.

In this regard, Maryam Nawaz is taking special intereset, he added.
