World’s youngest ACCA affiliate belongs to Pakistan
Sameera Lakhani, world’s youngest ACCA affiliate belongs to Pakistan. Sameera was 17 years and 8 months old when she completed her ACCA.
While talking to Samaa, Sameera said, “I started doing ACCA in December 2012; I gave corporate law as my first paper, I was 17 years and 8 months when I completed.”
Sameera shared her experience and about the hurdles she encountered during her journey with Samaa and said, “My journey was quite amazing. Yes, I faced tough times as I gave 4 papers at once. So, it was very difficult to manage as I had classes everyday back to back. Plus I had to keep studying at home as well. So it was very difficult to manage.”
Sameera told that overall her journey was good and she had very supportive teachers. Moreover, parents of girl played vital role in her success. Sameera also gave credit to her parents for her achievement. She said her parents always trusted me.
It is worth to mention that Sameera is working in a reputable organization since lasdt three years. While sharing her experience about her job she said, “I made a lot of mistakes but I had really supportive colleagues and managers who covered up for me. Whenever I felt that I couldn’t manage, I started to work a little harder.”
Sameera revealed her future plans by saying, “In 5 years, I see myself at a top leadership position in the corporate world. I would like to represent women. Also I would want to open up a school for unprivileged girls.”
Sameera’s determination and will leads her to achieve higher.
