Punjab Food Authority bans “Slanty” claiming it unhygienic
Punjab Food Authority (PFA) decides to ban most famous children snack Slanty. PFA claimed that Slanty is unhygienic and banned its sale across the Punjab.
Additionally the sale of colored slanty is also banned. Reports revealed that manufacturer of Slanty are given with deadline of one month. In this regard, DG Punjab Noor Ul Amin Mengal said that all colored Slanty companies are given with the deadline till first October. Mengal added that if after deadline any company will be found selling snacks, it will result in cancelation of license of company.
He further said that these snacks cause serious stomach and cancer problems in children.
