OGRA suggests reduction in petrol price

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) suggested cutting off the price of petroleum products. In this regard a summary has been sent by OGRA to ministry of finance. According to the summary there will be Rs. 3.67 per litre decrease in petrol prices.

In summary, prices of kerosene oil, high speed diesel and light speed diesel are also suggested by OGRA. Price of high speed diesel is expected to increase by Rs. 5.7/litre. OGRA recommends to increase price of light speed diesel by Rs. 10/litre while that of kerosene oil by Rs 13/litre.

The summary is expected to be approved by ministry of finance within few days. The petroleum prices are expected to be updated by August.

In July petroleum prices were reduced Rs. 1.5/litre.
