Oxford celebrates 70 years of Pakistan

Oxford University Press (OUP) opened up its new shop in Dolmen Mall Karachi.  OUP is celebrating 70 years of Pakistan and initiated its Platinum Series of books.

It is the fifth shop of Oxford in the city and first one in Clifton area. The newly opened shop is stocked with the huge range of new books of Oxford.

A particular corner is structured for teachers which enable the teachers to review the teaching material and learning material of Oxford. The shop is comprised of seating area for the functions and other activities.

The newly launched series of books contains 70 titles on Pakistan. These titles include different disciplines including history, gender studies, economics, politics, culture, sociology, literature and many more.  These books depict the history and culture of Pakistan.

During the event discussion was made between the Panel comprised of authors of the introduced book series. During the event, Khaled Anam, a weill known singer has performed.
