Official logo of 70 years of independence launched
The official logo for the 70th Independence Day celebrations of Pakistan has been launched. The logo was launched during a ceremony at Pakistan National Council of the Arts.
Minister for Railways Saad Rafique, Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and
National Heritage, Marriyum Aurangzeb and Prime Minister’s Adviser on National History and Literary Division Irfan Siddiqui were present during ceremony.
During ceremony the Minister of Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb that the celebrations of 70 years of Pakistan will continue till the end of 2017 and theme of the celebrations is cultural diversity of Pakistan.
Celebrations will include culture of all the provinces of country, Gilgit Baltistan (GB), and Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK, minister added.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that many other programs are also organized by the PM of country to promote different cultures.
During celebrations, achievements of government in energy, development, education, health and for the elimination of terrorism will also be highlighted.
The celebrations will include cultural shows, music and speech competitions, documentaries and seminars.
For celebrations of Independence Day, various preparations are underway by PNCA in cooperation with National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage, Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) and Nazria Pakistan Council.
