Pakistani student wins medal in International Chemistry Olympiad

A Pakistani talented girl won the bronze medal in an international chemistry competition held at Bangkok, Thailand.
Girl named as Maha Ayub is an A-levels student at Lyceum School in Karachi. The 49th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) won by talented Pakistani girl and made the whole nation proud.
International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) is the annual competition and most talented students of chemistry at secondary school participate in the competition.
Many countries across the globe have sent the team comprised of four talented students. The students were tested for their knowledge and skills regarding chemistry. The students were tested through five-hour laboratory practical and five-hour written theoretical examination.

The competition for 2017 was held from 6-15 July. Pakistani talented girl was among hundreds to win bronze medal for her country.
According to reports, the student was selected by HEC for the competition after HEC had conducted a series of test in which hundreds of students had participated and Maha along with four other students was selected.
