Facebook partners with local company to train women in Pakistan

Popular social media website Facebook inked consent with local company “Women’s Digital League (WDL)” to train women in Pakistan.

The purpose behind the agreement is to enhance and encourage women entrepreneurs of Pakistan. The consent will aid in promoting and training of women in country.

Earlier, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has also collaborated with networking monster under its “She Means Business” programme.

Facebook helps women in marketing for small businesses and provide free training to business women. This move will help women in achieving their aims and to run successful business.

Many women in the country are running small scale successful businesses but they have fewer opportunities to explore their business.  This programme will enable the women to advertise their products by using social media site and its partner sites like instagram, WhatsApp free of cost.

Till now “She Means Business” programmes has enabled 8,000 women entrepreneurs from 16 different countries to get training. 50,000 women across the world got online training.

The programme is developed by Facebook to enhance the talent and qualities of women.
