Sindh Education Minister: Sindh Lecturers Boycott the board exams

The Education Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar claims on Friday morning that the Lecturers Association and the Sindh Professors has ended their boycott of inter exams. He was speaking to media when he told about his examination. Earlier this day, Students were left in lurch making them learn about the exam centers closures and incomplete preparation which owes to SPLA`s boycott.

The teachers linked with SPLA locked their gates of examination centers and protested allegation of helping the various student to cheat during exams ad leaked papers.

According to the association president, Ferozudin Ahmed Siddiqui, the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi Chairperson Inam Ahmed is involved in the alleged crime. It was said that the chairperson of board Siddiqui also misleads the CM and counter-terrorism department in the matter.

The association claims that the chairperson of the board gave CTD names of 13 lecturers, which falsely accuse them of aiding cheating.

Therefore, members of SPLA boycotted the exams on this Friday morning and protested against the allegations after demanding Ahmed to be dismissed from Duty.

The association members locked the gates of all centers while in many colleges, exam papers had not reached in time. While in many exams, the nonteaching staff supervised the exams. After assurances from education minister, SPLA members ended the boycott and began conduction exams. Minister assures that the students were unable to take exams on Friday and will accommodate in the upcoming years.
