Orange Line Metro Train will reach Pakistan in July
Pakistan Government is ready to receive the 27 trains, which are exceptionally designed for the Orange Line Metro in Lahore. The trains are designed by the Chinese Company and will be received this July. While the remaining 26 trains will be given to authorities at the end of year,
Pakistan and China signed framework agreement in 2015 April which lets them build the Orange Line with a rapid mass transit system in Punjab provincial capital Lahore.
The Orange Line Metro Train is one of the large projects within the framework of CPEC. The orange line train consists of five coaches along with 25.58 km Metro Line that is produced by CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co Ltd.
It is an energy saving ac system which is perfect for the people of Pakistan who work and travel in the high summer. It is installed and merely designed train, which will operate at a speed of 80km/h. The design of train is an inspiration from the country’s national flower and the shape of dome of Badshahi mosque. It contains heat resistant bogies, which will increase the durability of the train.
The company engineer who is working on this project mentioned all of these specifications. The Metro Train is built of the same quality requirement for the high-speed railway, which links, in Beijing and Shanghai. The project manager Wang Fend said that the train ride adding to these countries would be incredibly smooth.
The 26 KM lie consists of 26 stations, and two of them are underground. Soon Pakistan will adopt Chinese standards, and the project will use the China made Metro cars and different mechatronic systems.
