Pakistan railways upgraded to Pakistan Express Train
Pakistan Railways have upgraded all economy class into the Pakistan Express train. The up gradation has been made by increasing the facility for electricity supply so that the lights and fans would function properly throughout Rawalpindi and Karachi and vice versa journey.
Even the old coaches were replaced with new ones to facilitate the passengers with comfortable features and seats. The train is revamped and will soon be inaugurated by Federal Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique on 26th April at Rawalpindi Railway Station.
The train will begin its journey with 11 coaches from Rawalpindi while the eight coaches were added in Faisalabad. And when the train reaches Karachi, it will have 19 coaches. The rates of the tickets are also changed. The fare from Rawalpindi to Faisalabad is Rs 410, and for Rawalpindi to Karachi, the cost is Rs 1400.
The train also stopovers in Jhelum, Lala Musa, Gojar Khan, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Faisalabad, Sangla Hill, Khanewal, Multan, Lodhran, Dera Nawab, Bahawalpur, Shorkot Cantt, Dera Nawab, Rahim Yar Khan, Rohri, Sadiqabad, Hyderabad and Tando Adam.
