Uber all set to launch its services in Rawalpindi and Islamabad
Uber is launching its services in two largest cities of the country. The company will gear up to launch its services in Rawalpindi and Islamabad within a week. However, the exact date for the launch of services of Uber in twin cities has not been revealed yet.
Careem will get a competitor in twin cities after the launch of Uber. This will lead to the discounts in the rates of ride-hailing services in twin cities just like Lahore and Karachi.
As Careem was only the ride-hailing service in two cities, therefore, majority of discounts were not available in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
General Manager for the company in Pakistan while talking to media said that for 2017, the company has big plans. He further said that plans of the company include an increase in a number of tier-1 and tier-2 cities at the end of 2017.
He also disclosed about the launch of ride-hailing service in the twin cities. He further said that on services of company they got a great response which is far more than their calculations and expectations.
