Edhi Foundation to establish science practical labs in 15 schools
Edhi Foundation establishes science practical labs in 15 schools in association with the District Municipal Corporation (DMC) Karachi South. The science labs are established in 15 schools of Lyari Zone at the cost of Rs four million.
Malik Muhammad Fayyaz, Chairman of District Municipal Corporation (DMC) has revealed it while speaking at a ceremony at the Gulistan Colony Union Council. The ceremony was held to name School Number 30/31 after the founder of Edhi Foundation, Abdus Sattar Edhi.
Chairman of DMC said that this was a great sign to pay tribute to the eminent social worker, Abdus Sattar Edhi over his magnificent services to the people.
He further stated that setting up of science practical labs is a great step towards the fulfillment of needs of students.
He said that it was the priority to provide quality education to the students of the area.
During ceremony president of PPP District South, Khalil Houot, Sindh MPA Sania Naz, son of Sattar Edhi- Faisal Edhi, Chairman of DMC Educational Committee, Firdous Khan, Director Education, Abdul Moeez Qazi, Municipal Commissioner, Afaq Saeed, and many others were also present.
The inauguration of the science practical labs was performed by Faisal Edhi and his wife Saba.
