Government to develop Amusement Park and Golf Course in Islamabad
Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) is planning to develop an amusement park and golf course near Shakarparian, Islamabad. The amusement park would be extended on 25 acres of land.
While talking to the state-run news agency, Abdul Ghafoor managing director of PTDC said that a survey will be conducted by the Vega Modern Tourism Solutions and will make report to highlight the possible areas of investment.
The PTDC looking for recreational activities and in this regard is offering many investment projects. The aim behind the projects is to promote the tourism in the country.
Further, Vega’s Information Technology Department is to develop a system of Online Reservation for PTDC Motels. The system will enable the customers to make online reservations.
Abdul Ghafoor hoped that through proper infrastructure, Pakistan can be ranked among the top tourists destinations in the world.
He told that new rooms would be added in Naran, Ayubia and other famous motels of country.
