To clear the misconception about the service, the Chairman of PITB Mr. Umar Saif recently cleared and Twitted as follows.
He said that People could not access the hotspots on roads. The Wi-Fi hotspots are only installed in the waiting areas of metro stations, hospitals or in parks. The free internet is not for the people who are passing by these signs r from the roads. They have to stand by to access the internet.
The CM pf Punjab, Shehbaz Shareef will be present at the inauguration ceremony of the project. The ceremony will be in the upcoming weeks.
