PPP felicitates the Hindu Community on Holi occasion
Karachi—The Hindu community mostly resides in Sindh. However, they will be able to celebrate the festival of Holi till Monday evening 13th March. PPP co-chairmen Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto will felicitate Hindu community all over Pakistan. They have decided to felicitate them on this occasion.
Zardari while addressing the press said that the festival of Holi is great for Hindus because it depicts the triumph of good over evil and sheds light over darkness. He said that “May their celebrations bring prosperity, peace, and joy in the lives of everyone.”
Defining the symbolization of Holi, he states that instead of cursing or abusing others, we need to stay positive by lighting a candle and planting the seeds of love instead of hatred.
The former president has taken a great step and assured minorities and the Hindu community that PPP stands with them. He expressed and showed confidence that their values and traditions will be valued and bring prosperity in Pakistan as well. This will surely promote interfaith harmony.
Bilawal Bhutto also made his presence in Umerkot to celebrate the colorful festival. He was unable to attend Holi festival because of his busy schedule and the press engagements in Lahore.
Bilawal also mentioned that their mission is to carry out an egalitarian society as Quaid-e-Azam dreamed. Special prayers were made to bring prosperity and progress in the country.
