Science Museums to be set up at Sindh
In an inauguration ceremony of Magnifi-Science Mela, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah announced to set up science museums across the province. The purpose behind the establishment of science museums is to create a curious and scientifically inclined society.
Magnifi-Science Mela was organized by the Dawood Foundation.
He stressed on the implementation of ‘teach for change’ project to inculcate the quality learning and education in government schools across the Sindh.

In a Press release, it was claimed that Pakistani institutes are providing a low level of education in Maths and Science. This is a higher risk to the economic growth of the country.
According to Standardized Achievement Test (SAT), in Sindh, the average math and science score is very low and is decreasing further with each passing year.
The Pakistan Alliance for Maths and Science was formed for improving the education of math and science in schools specifically in government schools where students from poor families get enrolled.
Researchers have compiled the document regarding Powering Pakistan for the 21st century by Pakistan Alliance for Math and Science. The aim for the compilation of document is to highlight the importance of maths and science education in Pakistan’s classrooms.
