Researchers told that the ruins of city Mohenjo-Daro were built from unbaked brick, which lies in Indus Valley. The lower town, Acropolis was set on high embankments that clearly provide evidence of an early system of the town. Discovery of the city in 1922 provides evidence of the religion, art, customs and the administrative abilities of inhabitants. The city was well planned and had public baths, elaborate drainage system, soak pits, large granary, college of priests and the well-organized economic, social, civic and cultural system.

Puzzling feature

It is utterly perplexing to know that Mohenjo-Daro does not have any temples, monuments or palaces. The place doesn’t feature anything, which indicates the seat of governing power. The largest structures are assembly halls, ancient buildings, sewer system and marketplace. All of the things show that it was a modest, clean and civil society.
