Double Decker tourist buses to run in Twin cities

In collaboration with private sector transport companies, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation will run Double Decker buses across the twin cities by the end of February 2017.

Managing Director of PTDC “Abdul Ghafoor” has stated that right after the launch of buses the students of universities, colleges and schools will be provided with the services at discounted rate.

He told that in meeting it was decided that in first phase buses will be piled at tourists places in Islamabad including Faisal Mosque, Daman-e-Koh, Morghzar Zoo, Rawal Lake, F-9 park, Lok Virsa, Children Park and in Rawalpindi at Ayub Park and Taxila Museum on weekends.

He further explained that if the practice will get success then buses will be run by three to four days in a week.

Managing director of PTDC said that PTDC has contacted with private sector transport companies to fulfill the project.

He said that this project will aid in enhancement of tourism in the country.
