SEF to Launch technology assisted teaching across Sindh
SEF is set to introduce Technology assisted teaching in SEF supported schools to make good standard to education of thousands of students across the Sindh. The purpose is to develop high standard of education in Sindh specifically in under privileged regions of the province.
SEF is set to Introduce Smart Teaching and Learning project with a purpose to introduce innovative ways of teaching to develop high standard of education.
The project includes two major programs, Promoting Private Schools in Rural Areas of Sindh (PPRS) and SEF assisted Schools (SAS) which includes 500 schools.
The project will be imposed on one school in each district of Dadu, Karachi, Mirpurkhas, Khairpur and Umerkot from February 15 to 20, 2017.
An android app is to be launched based on National Curriculum and Student Learning Outcomes. The aim of app is to aid knowledge in students. The institutions will be provided with tablet and computers with the App pre-installed. These technology based devices will be provided for subjects of Maths and Science for Grade V.
Managing Director of the Foundation, Ms Naheed S. Durrani said “vision behind the project is to provide better learning options to the students of SEF supported schools in Sindh and allowing them to gain knowledge with moderm techniques of learning.”
