CM orders to establish 10 technical institutes in Sindh
CM of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday announced to upgrade 10 technical institutes in light of his educational program in Sindh. He decided to upgrade two technical institutes in each division of Sindh to promote good quality of education.
He announced the good news regarding education while presiding the meeting on the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Stevta) on Friday at CM house.
The Managing Director of Stveta, Rafique Buriro said that there are 28,000 institutes in Sindh which are already imparting technical education to the students.
CM said that he in first phase of ‘education emergency’ wants to build the 10 technical institutes in Sindh, which would impart high quality of education to the students, so they could go at peak in the educational race and make good name not only for their self but also for their institute and country.
CM further said that these institutes will be just like the brand so that after studying from them no company will reject the students of these institutes for hiring them on job.
He said that institutes will be built at Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah, Sukkur and Larkana – two in each division.
He also forced the Secretary of universities and boards to upgrade the already exsisting institutes by providing them with highly qualified faculty, job oriented short technical courses and other facilities.
In meeting he also recalled the importance of Chinese language in near future in Pakistan. He said that following the China-Pakistan corridor and other projects of Pakistan and China, Many of Chinese are going to invest in Sindh for the promotion of Chinese language. So, Stveta must introduce short Chinese language courses in Sindh.
