Pemra issues another notice to Bol news over Aamir Liaquat’s Show
On Tuesday, Pakistan electronic Media regulatory authority (Pemra) issued another show case notice to the Bol news. The notice has been issued for usage of provoking, filthy, unwise speech.
Pemra claimed that one of the anchors of Bol news Aamir Liaquat used detracting words in his show on January 26, 2017.
Pemra claimed that the language used by the anchor of Bol is violating the Pemra rules and its code of conduct.
Aamir Liaquat has been blamed for supporting the ill speech against the five progressive activists. These activists have been disappeared at the start of the following month.
The concerned authorities of Pemra have administered the Chief Executive officer of Bol news to submit their response by February 7, 2017.
In case of failure to guard itself, Pemra has the authority to suspend the programme under the rules of Pemra. In addition, Pemra can also fine up to one million rupee to the channel. Under the rules of Pemra it also has authority to cancel, or suspend the license of the channel.
Pemra has banned the programme of famous anchor Aamir Liaquat for using ill speech against the activists of civil society and bloggers.
After a day again a notification has been issued to the channel for disobeying the notification of Pemra.
The Pemra also issued another notice to Bol news on Monday over the programme of the Doctor Shahid Masood for inflammatory and indecent speech.
