Opening of Karachi-Hyderabad motorway M-9 has been announced to be on Friday!
Here is the good news for all the residents of Karachi and Hyderabad. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is going to inaugurate the completed section of Karachi-Hyderabad motorway M-9.
The inauguration ceremony of the motorway M-9 is going to held on 3rd February 2017. The project was begun on 17th September 2015 and is expected to be fulfilled by March 17, 2018 with the cost of almost Rs. 36 billion.
The cause was to convert 136-km long 4-lane Super Highway into a 6-lane controlled-access motorway between Karachi and Hyderabad.
In 2016, the ongoing project had also been inspected by the Governer of Sindh Dr. Ishrat ul Ibad Khan during his visit to Karachi.
News by radio Pakistan has revealed that motorway comprises of seventy five kilometer track of 136 kilometer motorway consists of 6-lanes.
The project is being completed by Lucky cement.
The motorway go through the four interchanges named as Dada Bhoy Interchange, Industrial Valley Interchange, Nooriabad Interchange and Thano Bola Khan Interchange. These interchanges will help residents with easy access to the nearby areas like Keer Thar National Park, Jhmpeer, Kinjhar Jheel and Thano Ahmed Khan.
In addition to four interchanges, five bridges and two trauma centers at Nooriabad and Damba have also been completed during this section.
Along with the 4 interchanges, 5 bridges, service roads and plantation has also been made the part of the project.
According to the concerned authorities the project of Burhan to Mansehra is also expected to be fulfilled by 2018.
