Third far-off data Centre: Facebook will build a new data Centre in the Danish, Odense
After Facebook’s data Centers at Lulea, Sweden and another in Clonee in Ireland, has decided to build a third foreign center in Danish, Odense.
Niall McEntegart, the director of Facebook’s data centers operations said that this data centre will be most advanced, energy-proficient data centers in the world. He added that this center will cost more than $100 million and when it will be working it will provide 150 jobs.
He supplemented that it will not be dependent on the air conditions but it will rather be powered by renewable energy sources and he cold climate will also be helpful in keep the servers cool.
Lilleholt, Danish Energy Minister, said in a report that they are having one of the world’s chief energy systems with huge magnitudes of green energy, high safety of stock, good fiber connections and modest power expenses.
He also unveiled reason behind Facebook’s decision of building data centre in Danish, Odense. He said that Face book wants to acknowledge Denmark’s fortes.
