Alibaba group is interested in investing in Pakistan
On Wednesday, The chairman of Alibaba group Jack Ma met with Nawaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan in Davos, Switzerland.
Jack Ma expressed that he is keen to invest in Pakistan. He told that he is interested to develop e-Commerce platform in Pakistan. He expressed his views about the economic potential that has been acknowledged in Pakistan.
He also talked about the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He said that CPEC has brought enormous chances.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif invited chairman of Alibaba group to visit Pakistan. In return Jack Ma also invited Nawaz Sharif to visit the hub-Guangzhou of his company.
Nawaz Sharif also met with Ranil Wickremesinghe, the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Group CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Global, Chairman of Procter & Gamble and Group CEO of VimpelCom.
This meeting is expected to be very advantageous in bringing the small vocation worldwide and also in creation of more investment opportunities.
