Karachi among six worst cities to live in the world
The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has listed Karachi as world’s sixth worst city to live in. The city of lights is considered as worst one for the third time by EIU.
List ranked Damascus, Lagos, Tripoli, Dhaka, and Port Moresby as top five worst cities of globe. The ranking is marked on the basis of qualitative and quantitative factors in the categories of Stability, Healthcare, culture, environment, education and infrastructure.
The survey was conducted only in the cities which people want to visit or live in. Due to conflict in Kabul and Baghdad, they were not surveyed.
According to list, Australian city Melbourne is the most liveable city across the globe. However two other cities of Australia and 3 of Canada are among top ten liveable cities across the world.
For three consecutive years, Karachi is maintaining its position on the list, neither improved nor worsened its position.
