Rs.10 million scholarships have been allocated to the students of Khyber Agency. This scholarship is entirely for the needy students. Memorandum of Understanding has been issued between the Khadim Ul Khalq Foundation and NTS. It is a social organization, which is currently contributing its services in Khyber Agency to sponsor education from Grade 7 to Grade 12.

While addressing the function, the Chief Executive Officer of NTS Dr. Sherzada Khan mentioned that the total scholarship amount would cover the full tuition fee, as well as the stipend cost and the related expenses.

NTS has planned to spend at least RS 170 million on need base scholarships since the inception added that NTS is playing the decisive role in education sectors and is improving the socio-economic conditions of Pakistani people. NTS had established the CSR department under the corporate social responsibility.

He also added that the primary purpose was to award the scholarship especially to the poor students who belong from the underprivileged background. MNA Shah G Gul Afridi also told that NTS is trying hard to promote merit in Pakistan and also appreciated the efforts of NTS for providing a scholarship to the needy students in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
