Supreme Court of Pakistan will give much awaited Panama gate case verdict on April, 20. According to the notification issued by Supreme Court of Pakistan, the verdict will be made in Court Room 1 at 2 pm.
Only those people would be allowed to attend the hearing that will possess the security clearance passes.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Senior PTI leader said that the verdict will be the most important decision in the history of Pakistan. He further said that decision is finally coming after being waiting for 57 days and we hope that decision will be for the benefit of the country.
Major General Asif Ghafoor, DG Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on April 8 said that like every other Pakistani, Army of Pakistan is also seeking that verdict will be based on justice.
The case was filed by various petitioners including PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Jamaat-i-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq and Sheikh Rashid Ahmed. Petitioners seek the disqualification of Prime Minister over his misstatement to the nation on April 5.
In November 2016, Prime Minister rejected the holding of offshore companies. During his written response to Supreme Court of Pakistan, PM made it clear that all of his assets were cleared by him in 2013, so under articles 62 and 63 he is not liable for the disqualification.
