Honorary CEO Wasim Akram have reduced Careem Fares

The Honorary CEO of Careem Wasim Akram have reduced the fares of CAreem after the first day of his appointment. By being the CEO, he owns the power to execute the order or issue a statement. However, he reduced fares for Karachi and Lahore.

The fare reductions are 25% and 20% for Lahore and Karachi Go Rides respectively. The left-arm fast bowler and the former Pakistani Cricketer have got the privileged position in Careem. After the retirement, he became one of the prominent commentators just like other cricketers. He took the role of coach of IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders and had helped them to achieve the crown as champions in 2012 and 2014.

The Managing Director Junaid Iqbal stated that

After getting the authority, Waseem Akram asked both the customers as well as captains to share particularly one change they want to see in Careem Service. After his announcement, he looked the comments, reviews as well as experiences, which resulted in the complimentary change in price.

As the honorary CEO, he made an order to cut the prices in Karachi and Lahore. This price is lessened for the GO cars and is applied. The prices are dropped significantly and will go as low as 100 Rs.
