Road named after Allama Iqbal in Kuwait
In Kuwait’s Fahaleel area, a road is named after Pakistani National Poet Allama Mohammad Iqbal.
Allama Iqbal is Pakistani National poet and was politician and philosopher. He was also well-known barrister and scholar in British India. Allama Iqbal inspired to have Pakistan Movement.
According to reports, street 21 of Fahleel area of Kuwait is named after the famous Pakistani poet.
Further, a panel has been embed on the roadside with following words written on it:
“Allama Muhammad Iqbal s/o Noor s/o Muhammad Rafique dreamt of creating Pakistan in 1938 and the country came into existence in 1947. Iqbal had complete command over Arabic, Urdu and Persian language.”
