Wi-Tribe 4.5G service is introduced in Pakistan

Wi-tribe 4.5G service will soon be operational in Pakistan by June 2017. It will be available in major five cities of country. According to the private news source, Wi-Tribe announced $15 million contract and strategic partnership with Huawei of China. It will get the advanced up gradation of LTE available in five major cities including Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Faisalabad.

The technology will be tested at Head Office, Islamabad to ensure the full operation across the city. LTE-a is induced in the saturated market of Pakistan for the first time when 3.5 Ghz is deployed in the Middle East and South Asia.

LTE-A equipment is capable of delivering 1Gb per second data where LTE can go up 300MB per second. However, Wi-tribe will provide 100Mbps per connection. At the end of 2018, the connection speed will be raised to 200Mbps.

However, industry plans that by the end of 2019 the customer will be able to use 400Mbps.
