Sindh public sector universities to get all resources from government: Governor

Governor of Sindh, Mohammad Zubair told that government through Higher Education Commission (HEC) would provide all the resources to public sector varsities in the Sindh.

He announced the news during the inauguration ceremony of recently established projects and ceremony of distribution of laptops under Prime Minister’s laptop scheme at Liaquat University of Medical Health and Sciences (LUMHS), Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) and the University of Sindh, Jamshoro.

In this regard, governor Sindh also held a meeting with vice-chancellors of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Medical University, Larkana and People’s Medical University, Shaheed Benazirabad.

Governor assured to personally lead the delegation of vice chancellors along with the assistance of HEC authorities to redress the genuine concerns of all public universities in the province.

During his visit to LUMHS, MUET and Sindh University, Jamshoro he appreciated the development work and maintenance of high standard of education in the universities.

For his visit to the university and for assurance to provide all the necessities of the university, vice chancellor of LUMHS thanked the governor.
