Digital Urdu Sound dictionary will soon be accessible
Islamabad—The Information Ministry and the broadcasting decide to prepare the first innovative Urdu sound dictionary that will help to promote the Urdu language. This will also preserve the national language. Ministry allocates at least Rs 208 million for preparing the digital dictionary.
According to the reliable sources, a PC-1 is also under development. During the first phase of the digital dictionary, software worth is Rs 10 million that will be developed with the assistance of Ministry of IT. The project will be completed by November 2018. The senior official of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting told that current government is taking radical steps to preserve and promote the Urdu Language.
