STEM by IBM Pakistan for high school girls

Webdesk—This year to celebrate the International women Day, IBM proposed a plan to host the STEM forum merely for high school girls. The event was celebrated in Islamabad where many women representatives took part from different business. However, the external senior women leaders from Telecom and digital domain also participated.

Many different schools participated and gave presentations on the technology related topics. The main aim of the forum was to educate the girls so that they can shape their future well and start their business by overcoming the business difficulties they will have to face in the society.

This will help to empower women in Pakistani society. 50% of the population comprises of Women, and it is essential to create the inclusive environment for them. Take a look at the pictures of future leaders who have taken pictures with the IBM leadership.

The forum will continue to discuss various ideas and topics. People will be able to share their thoughts as well. However, the name of the forum is Sahar-Discover the Era of Digital Technology which targets to bring the bright science students and innovative ideas from the reputed schools in Pakistan. It is a great forum where compelling ideas can be exchanged in field of technology and females will be able to make their presence.
