Facebook is set to test its dislike button but the company is set to test it in most unlikely place, the messages. As a company is testing the new feature, therefore, certain people will be able to react to their friend’s messages and can also express the emotion through dislike button.

Facebook users just like News feed can now react to particular messages of their friends by tapping the emoji button. On messages, a full range of feelings could be used like- like, dislike, heart-eyes, lol, sad, wow or angry emojis to express your feelings about a particular message.

This is a very first time when Facebook is testing this feature in messages since in posts it is already been used.

In a group chat, other participants will be able to see the reactions on messages.

The option of dislike is the most demanded option on Facebook as users most of the time asks to have this feature on Facebook.

For now, the feature is available for very limited users as Facebook is just testing it. After watching the response of users, the company will introduce the feature on other platforms as well.

These reactions are similar to one already available in iMessage right now.
