CM Punjab approves Punjab University medical college

Chief Minister of Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif approved the establishment of Punjab university medical college. Along with medical college CM also announced to provide funds for establishment of four hostels.

Vice Chancellor of Punjab University, Prof Dr. Zafar Mueen Nasir invited the Chief Minister at camp office in Model Town.

VC of university discussed with CM on improving ranking of university internationally. Further VC briefed CM about the problems which university has to face. CM also announced to provide Rs 50 million for improving research activities in university.

Shehbaz Sharif approved the establishment of PU medical college and also assured the provision of funds for the establishment of four hostels for girls, boys, teachers and employees.  CM also instructed to provide 10 buses for students of Punjab University.

Further CM announced good news regarding the increase in university’s share in PEEF scholarships. The decision is made to maximize the benefit for the intelligent students.

For this great act, VC of PU students and teachers thanked CM as CM solved their long-lasting issues. They told that in past no prominent measurements were taken by any official for solving the issues of university.
