Gboard update by Google adds 15 new languages, voice typing, emoji and more
Google introduced Gboard for Google last year in May for iPhone users. The big feature of the app was to ease its users to add information, GIFs, emojis without leaving the conversation. The upgrade rolled out by Google in October 2016 brought support for 3D touch and new iOS 10 emojis.
Now Google is upgrading the Gboard for iOS. The update contains 15 new languages, new emoji, voice typing and Doodle. The update provides support for users by providing language support, Google Doodle integrations and beefed up support for iOS 10 emojis.
Update adds support for 15 new languages including Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Catalan, Hungarian, Malay, Russian, Latin American Spanish and Turkish.
By Voice typing feature iPhone users will be able to dictate their messages directly to their device. Users can use this feature just by pressing the space bar for long.
Gboard features have a icon of Google search on the top left of the keyboard. By pressing G icon, users will be able to search addresses, flights and youtube videos.
Users will be able to get access to 10 new emojis after update. They can even search for the emojis by typing in the search icon.
Through Gboard upgrade users will easily get access to the Google animation. Whenever there will be any Doodle on occasions such as birthday of any notable personality, a global event etc, then the ‘G’ icon will animate on the app. User can easily press on the G and get to know for what it is about.
The update is available in App store.
