Telenor’s ARPU diminished amid 2016 in contrast with previous year
According to recently obtained news of telenor said that the company’s ARPU (Average revenue per unit) have declined among 2016 from previous year for both paid and post paid clients.
The gradual decrease in ARPU is due to increased data usage. The organization’s ARPU remained Rs 205 by the end of 2016, while a year back it was Rs.212. This decrease in ARPU is due to increasing interest of customers in 3G And 4G. And the increased interest in 3G and 4G will finally end up with hurting telecom administrators.
If the administrators won’t stop the value wars and fights, the situation will continue. Said by an investigator who doesn’t want to disclose his identity.
The organization has invested $395million for 4G and is still investing more since last two years.
According to a high up company the organization is on decline despite of up gradation. Further he said that if the situation will keep on going the company will face a great loss. This is the right time for administrators to take measures to cope up with the situation else conditions will go beyond control.
