Establishment of technology city at Rashakai Industrial Zone

On Wednesday the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa proposed for the formation of technology city at Rashakai Industrial Zone. The project will be considered as the part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

He was administering the meeting over the establishment of technology city and for building up IT Park in Peshawar.

Along with Pervaiz Khattak the meeting was also been attended by the Assistant of chief Minister, Muhammad Ahmad Ghani, secretary planning and development and other political personalities.

The chief minister added that there would be clusters of different cities. And among these clusters two would be developed by FWO at Rashakai and Peshawar costing almost 7.02 billion US dollars. And one of them will be by Pakistan Air Force.

The purpose for these clusters would be of residential accommodations for CPEC related activities in the area. The required land for the project will be assigned in the Hayatabad town ship, said by the Prime Minister. He also accepted the extension of electricity at low rates to all the industrial units at Rahakai, Hattar and Dera Ismail Khan.
